페퍼스. 5월 4년만에 발표한 9번째 앨범 ‘Stardium Arcadium’ 이 발매와
동시에 앨범차트 1위에 올랐고 발매 첫 주 200만장의 앨범 판매량을 기록
해 데뷔 22년만에 처음으로 빌보드 앨범차트 1위에 오르는 감격을 누렸다.
1984년 첫 앨범을 낸 이후 이들은 내는 음반마다 히트 행진을 이어왔다.
이들은 백인의 록과 흑인의 Funk 를 교묘하게 조합해 록계에선 독특한
밴드로 평가받고 있다. 그들만의 주옥같은 멜로디 라인에 독특한 리듬이
덧붙여진 음악은 팬들의 열광적인 지지를 이끌어냈다. 과거 멤버들은 알몸
으로 무대에 서는 등 파격적인 행동으로 유명하다. 새 앨범은 이전 작품에
