독특한 음악색으로 국내에도 많은 매니아가 존재하는 메틀 밴드 W.A.S.P의 새 앨범이 발매된다. 앨범 제목은 [The Neon God: Part One - The Rise].
총 2부작으로 기획된 W.A.S.P의 이번 앨범은 뚜렷한 컨셉구성과 록 오페라 형식으로 이루어져 있다고 한다. 또 이번 앨범을 기획한 Sanctuary/Metal-Is 레코드사에 따르면, 이번 작품의 주제는 존재의 근원을 찾아가는 한 소년이 겪는 비극과 고난이라고 전해졌다.
오는 4월 6일 발매 예정인 이번 앨범의 라인업은 Blackie Lawless (vocals), Frankie Banali (drums), Mike Duda (bass), Darrell Roberts (guitar)이며 트랙 리스트는 아래와 같다.
