Flex Your Feet
Here's another great grounding exercise:
Sit comfortably in a chair and remove your socks and
shoes. Flex your ankles and feet until they feel loose and
relaxed.
Place one foot at a time in your lap and give yourself a
foot massage - paying close attention to the ankle, the
toes, the arch, and even the calf. Use peppermint lotion to
enhance the experience. Notice how relaxed and grounded
you begin to feel while doing this. The more you massage,
the more centered you become.
Five minutes will work miracles anytime you're anxious,
worried, overextended, or fatiqued and need a boost.
