A tall order
- Cody, can you go over to the Temp agency and screen the candidates they've selected for us? I was going to myself but something else came up.
- You mean someone to take Anna's place for a while, right?
- Right. We're going to need someone with a lot of initiative and who can think on their feet.
- That's a tall order. It's going to be hard to find someone as good as Anna, you know.
- I know. You don't know how good someone is at their job until they're gone.
- So true. It's easy to take people for granted, isn't it?
- By the way, we're taking up a collection to buy flowers for Anna. Can you contribute?
- Of course! Are you going to deliver them in person? I'd like to tag along if you don't mind. I'd like to see how Anna is doing and to meet the new addition to her family!

Broadway ignores economic downturn
Wall Street may be in a slump, but 4 miles north in Manhattan, Broadway theaters continue to lure crowds as they have for decades during times of recession. The Broadway League industry group says it has analyzed 30 years of attendance data for Broadway houses during recessionary periods and concluded that New York's theaters have been virtually impervious to economic declines. The League also said that many Americans may be scrapping plans for vacations in Europe or elsewhere and traveling instead to New York City to see Broadway shows where they can enjoy a several-hour "escape from reality".
