> 1990년대 초 Trippy 댄스 그룹 Sub Sub 의 멤버였던 세 사람이 음악적 궤도를 갈아타기 위해 1998년 밴드 결성. 1998년  처음으로 'Cedar' EP를 발표. 1999년 Heavenly 레코드사와 계약하고 'Sea song' 과 'Here it comes' 싱글을 발표. 이듬해 미국의 Astralwerks 사와 계약, 첫 앨범 'Lost Souls'를 발표. 이 후 Capitol 레코드사와 계약을 한 후 미국 tour 공연을 벌임. 2002년 정규 2집 'Last Broadcast'를 발표하여 영국챠트 정상에 오름. 같은 해 북미 tour 공연. 2005년 3집 'Some Cities'발표.
